Description
ABOUT YK-11: Yuichiro Kanno identified YK-11 in 2011, hence the name. It is a gene-selective partial agonist and is a synthetic Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM).
YK11 is a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM)
Preclinical studies:
- Muscle growth and strength: YK11 has shown potential for promoting muscle growth and enhancing muscle strength. It has been reported to selectively bind to androgen receptors, stimulating muscle cells to produce more follistatin, a protein that helps regulate muscle growth (source: YK11 acts as a partial agonist of the androgen receptor with comparable potency to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), Kanno Y et al., Endocrinology, 2011).
- Myostatin inhibition: Myostatin is a protein that limits muscle growth. YK11 has been reported to inhibit myostatin activity, potentially allowing for increased muscle mass (source: YK11 acts as a partial agonist of the androgen receptor with comparable potency to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), Kanno Y et al., Endocrinology, 2011).
- Bone health: Some studies suggest that YK11 may have a positive impact on bone health. It has been reported to increase bone mineral density and enhance bone strength (source: YK11 acts as a partial agonist of the androgen receptor with comparable potency to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), Kanno Y et al., Endocrinology, 2011).
- Limited androgenic side effects: YK11 has been suggested to have limited androgenic side effects compared to traditional androgenic steroids. However, further research is needed to fully understand its safety profile and potential side effects.
It is important to reiterate that YK11 is not approved for human use, and its potential benefits and risks are not fully understood. By purchasing any product on this site you are agreeing to purchase research chemicals and use them for research purposes only.
